Getting the Sound Right: Live Performance “Must Be Appealing'"

I just dropped a live performance video of "Must Be Appealing," and I really like how it turned out. I shot and edited the entire thing myself.

The thing I'm happiest about is the audio. For a long time, I struggled with figuring out how to get it right. I used a Yamaha mixer, and while the audio sounded okay, I had major issues with the levels. Either the beat was too loud, or the vocals were too low, and both the live audio and the beat were going through one channel.

Then my friend Paavo suggested I use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I was a bit hesitant at first and thought, "What does Paavo know about this life?" But I decided to follow his advice, and it worked! The audio sounds crisp now. It's funny because he had mentioned it before, but I probably wasn't paying attention at the time. That probably grinds his gears.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the live performance. Also, I'll be having a few shows coming up very soon, so stay tuned. I appreciate all your support. Peace!
