Unforgettable Time at Jackets and Jams
Jackets and Jams at Drakes Brewing in San Leandro was an incredible experience.

I met a lot of amazing people. It was a pleasure to meet DJ D1Dru, who ran my set during the performance—we killed it YEE.
I also got to meet DJ Audio 1 as well, and enjoyed chatting with DJ Chris Leo.
I had a great conversation with Jeff Kwan from BTP Media Group; he was really awesome. CMG from Conscious Daughters delivered a fantastic set and was accompanied by Ybbabie, with whom I enjoyed talking to later at the event.
It was also dope meeting the legend Chuy Gomez—that was a moment for the ages! I also got to see Shortkut kill it on the turntables.
Beyond meeting all these great people, it was fulfilling to be involved in such a worthy cause. Jackets and Jams collects coats for the homeless, and I was just happy to be a part of that. They do a lot for the community. One of the coolest aspects was having my daughter there to watch the show. She was a trooper and helped me set up my merch table. This was actually the first time she saw me perform in front of an audience. While she’s seen me rehearse in the garage, she had never seen me in front of a crowd before. Sometimes, I wonder what goes through her head during these moments.

I also want to give a shout-out to Andrew, Ingrid, and Elina, whom I talked to at the merch table. I hadn’t seen Ingrid in years; she was the one who helped me throw my first album release party and introduced me to Alex Mejia about 12 years ago. Alex's been a huge supported of me and has seen grow in the last decasde. I'm truly appreciative to have met him and to call him a friend during my journey.
